How do single men love single woman with a Christ-like love?

1. Maintain all purity in your conscience about every interaction with them

All of us are different; some more sensitive, some less, some more relational some less, some more venerable, some less, some more sensual, some less. Know your weakness and guard it! Don't be afraid to hold yourself to a strange or different standard-- stand up for purity.

2. Imagine them married and visualize their husbands present in your interactions

It is good to treat women like sisters, in fact this is commanded in 1 Timothy 5:2: "appeal...to the younger women as sisters, in all purity." Notice Paul's emphasis: the way we are the be "brotherly" is in our purity, not our closeness or emotional intensity. Test yourself. Would the future husband of this girl appreaciate they way you are loving her or would he disaprove of it. Imagine he is listening to your conversations and sees your motivation. Don't be naïve.

3. Seek to build them up and encourage them to godliness and obedience to God.

The goal is not that they accept and affirm you. The goal is that God accepts and affirms them. As the body of Christ with different gifts we are being built up together into the spiritual house. Love is service, and service is sacrifice. Sacrifice for them and don't let them know it was you-don't let yourself be the recipient of the glory or your sacrifice will be in vain.

4. When in doubt over confused motives, distance is a better expression of love than intimacy. Be a person of character and love her by guarding your/her heart. Don't give this responsability to the girl, she was really not meant to bear it and the man should have the wisdom and discernment to know when to back off.

5. Let your closer relationships with girls be based more on like-mindedness and spiritual maturity rather than physical apprearance or popularity. A quick sign of an immature young man is that he acts differenely around the cute girls than he does the common girls.
